Below you will find instructions on how to reformat a SD card if it ever gives you issues.
Keep in mind that when you reformat a disk all the data is deleted so be sure to save any work previously installed on the SD card if possible.
In my case, when installing the OS, the SD card kept on giving me false values for the memory, because of this false reading I needed to reformat the disk; below are the steps I took in order to achieve that. During that process I tried multiple OS configurations till one worked, I recommend you do the same.
